Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Must be all that syrup...

2715 Madison Road - Cincinnati (Hyde Park)

Never too crowded and they have a wide variety of artery-clogging breakfast items.

Surprise, surprise, I like their pancakes. Downside: They don't take reservations so you have to stand in an annoying, Kings Island-esque line.

The Echo is a long-time Cincinnati favorite. Be prepared to wait on a Sunday morning. My husband likes the Hyde Parker omelet.

The new location is weird and dark. But don't let that stop you. Their food is fabulous. Try the french toast.

I know it is a chain, but my grandmother likes it. The food is good, if a little predicable. We usually go to the Kenwood restaurant. This place is a favorite for the church crowd.

Despite what the listing says, this place isn't in Indian Hill. It is, however, near IH.

I remember going there as a high schooler and feeling cool as we sat, packed like sardines, in the smoky shoebox. It is too greasy of a greasy spoon for me.

This is my 2-year-old's favorite place to have brunch. There's a limited menu but we like the waffles so it's an easy decision for us most Sundays. Most of the seating is outdoors. Keep that in mind if you visit during the winter. There's no indoor seating for wheelchairs.

Get a bunch of doughnuts and bring them back to your house. Mmmmm.
