The items at these places are soo good, I just had to point them out. They're my comfort foods, for sure.

    Jolly's Drive-In

    Jolly's Drive-In - 5

    210 Erie - Hamilton (Hamilton)

This place is totally unassuming, but the root beer is to die for. Next time I'm out in Hamilton, I'm getting a gallon of it.

Their tortilla soup is my go-to food in the winter when I feel a sore throat coming on. It warms you up all over!

    Buckhead Mountain Grill

    Buckhead Mountain Grill - 3

35 Fairfield Ave. - Bellevue (Riverfront)

The view of downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River is fantastic - and the steak is delicious. Pair it with a beer and some good conversation, and you don't have to go anywhere else that night.

    Red Pepper - 0

    204 W. McMillan St. - Cincinnati (Corryville/Clifton Heights)

Some claim their Chinese cuisine is too salty, but that's the way I like it, and this Clifton staple pretty much kept me fed through college.

    Dewey's Pizza

265 Hosea Ave. - Cincinnati (Clifton (gaslight district))

We all know about their pizza, but have you tried their Candied Walnut and Grape salad? It's like dessert, only healthier (I think).
