Via Vite Restaurant -
520 Vine St. - Cincinnati (Downtown)
Report this commentSure it could be a fine dining stop, but don't forget happy hours, wood-fired pizzas and their late-night menu on the second-floor terrace over looking the Square is one of the best ways to finish a night on the town.

Pompilios Restaurant -
600 Washington Ave. - Newport (Riverfront)
Report this commentSure the movie stuff is nice, but there's also famous lasagna, meatballs and a bocce ball court. Last time, I had one of the past Taste of Cincinnati winners: Chicken and Cheese Tortellini San Luci. Yeah, easy to see why that won.

Nicola's Ristorante -
1420 Sycamore St.. - Cincinnati (Downtown)
Report this commentPerhaps fine Italian dining at its finest. When in doubt, go with the chef's special spaghetti of the season.

Antonio's Ristorante Italiano -
7165 Liberty Centre Drive - West Chester
Report this commentA nice little family-owned place where I want to try many things on the menu, but keep finding a favorite that is hard to pass up. (I think I once had the chicken-and-shrimp special six times in a row while trying the various sauces they offer.)

Primavista -
810 Matson Place - Cincinnati (Price Hill)
Report this commentPut this on your list for a special occasion restaurant. The view really is fantastic (seriously, you owe it to yourself to see the city this way at least once) and they offer some Italian specialties you won't find everywhere.
