It saddens me to read all of the bad reviews about A.J.'Ss Road house. I have so many fond memories of the place over the years, even back to when it was called four season's. ( I think that was the previous name) I'ts in a great location & the food is really good. I don't think the previous owner has changed the menu at all. I believe it is the same food from the same suppliers for many years. I ate there yesterday. The food is still good, though the fish & onion rings were much greasier than normal. The waitress we had was great being only two tables eating at 1pm in the afternoon. The decor is way out dated & the floors looked hiddious. There is no wonder why this place doesn't have the regular customers it used to bring. The owner really doesn't care if you like it or not! He has a very unpleasant disposition to go with his bad attitude. The place is just an investment for him. Though one would think he'd want it to do better he has refused to put much effort into upkeep & cleanliness. The place is pretty much just as it was when he got it with the exeption of the delapidation of things. Especially the motel rooms. The upside of things is that it is now for sale! Hopefully someone will buy it & mannage it well. It will be great if they keep the same menu & suppliers as well. This place has the potential to make alot of money with a few updates & a good mannager. Some entertainment would be great as well. I remember the days of live bands & accoustic solo musicians packing the place.Yesterday I took a friend & some family members there for their first time. I now realize it was a poor choice. Especially with some of the staff about to fist fight out back & we had a child with us. I will not be back anytime soon. Maybe this place will soon see better days under new ownership.

Easter Brunch a bust! Rude hostess, disorganized wait staff, over-priced brunch. Menu changed from the time I made the reservation to the day of the event. Even my 12 year old recognized that the food was bad! Will not return.

Well I can finally say Cincinnati has got a deli. We are pleased that it is a good one. Great service, good food and a pretty decent atmosphere make Rascals a good place to eat.

Wing Sauce is really good (get Mikes Mix). But trying to entertain teenagers while you are watching the game with a cold beer and pretty good wings (not a fan of the fries) when they will NOT give out the wifi password is very frustrating! Service is always very good.

The staff at Sarelli's is amazing! They took care of all my guests' needs! I didn't have to worry at all! I suggest using them for catering service.

Won't go back. We were seated 1 hour after our reservation. Food was cold. Frisch's does a better job with virtually the same food. Management could have cared less. Used to be a great restaurant. Too bad.

I have been here about 3 times and I always have a great time. The food is great, the atmosphere is pretty nice and nothing is over $20 so I think that is a pretty good value, especially for dates! We all know the "Order the most expensive thing on the menu" type. They can't pull that one on you at this place! IJS!! They usually have either live bands or a DJ and I find that pretty nice. And to the lady that brought 12 people with her, yes 12 is a lot of dam people!!! But obviously you don't know that. If you bring 12 people with you, you better plan ahead and not just show up at a popular restaurant with 12 flippin' people and get mad when they can't sit you. And by the way, they tell EVERYBODY about the 2hr limit. To every one else, it's a pretty nice place. I have recommended it to many people and will continue to do so!!

HillaryMacIntosh wrote about Pompilios Restaurant

Ate there last night. Will not return. We were very happy to discover this location near our home but we're very disappointed with the food. We ordered house white and red wines by the glass. My pinot grigio was quite sweet. I asked for a glass of red instead. Waitress took the white (I had 3 sips) and still charged me for it. The menu was nothing like the website menu--very minimalist. No pizza, no veal parmesan... We got the antipasto and the meats and cheeses were average to good but served on slimy, wilted lettuce (I'm thinking e-coli) I asked for some Italian dressing and got a little cup of sweetened vinegar with a few drops of oil on top (no pepper nor herbs) The bread they served was Italian version of Wonderbread. It was dry on the surface (like it came from a previous table) and was light yellow (egg?) Litlle pats of butter in peel-off containers. Our entree to share was their sampler. It arrived smothered in what they call robust marinara. Smelled like tomato paste and tasted like it came out of a jar. None of the food was more than lukewarm. Ravioli were thick (I make my own--I know what is right), eggplant was super-gooey and the lasagna was lots of pasta/minimal cheeses. The texture of the meatball looked like canned dog food. Luckily it was tasteless. Sadly, the overcooked Italian sausage was not--it was HOT sausage--really HOT. I wanted to ask for some parmesan cheese, when I noticed it was on the table--it was in a shaker jar--like Kraft. YUK. The temperature of the plate concerned me. I doubt that it could pass health inspection. I will be calling the restaurant to tell them my concerns and about this review. I wanted to send back the food but my husband told me to be nice. We agreed that this was our first and last visit. This restaurant has serious food issues. They should be ashamed to carry the Pompilio name. What we ate was hardly Italian food--total bastardization. Service was average. Friendly but not particularly attentive.

Visited Boswells for lunch with my son a few weeks ago. I had not been there in a while and was pleasantly surprised. The remodeled bar and table area looked very nice, the food was great and we had very good service. Was glad to see the place open again! Over the years I have had many good times there! Looking forward to eating there more often. We had wings, and they were excellent! Great bloody marys too!!!

This used to be a great bar to hang out in & see a band. Now it seems to be getting run down. The bands there are bad & the DJ's aren't good either. The sound system in the place is old like mid to late 90's old and wayyyyyy past it's prime. Not sure who the owner is but the place seems to going in the wrong direction which is a shame.

Food is awful. Service slow and when we were there the staff was more focused on their conversation with their friends then their customers. When manager got off work she drank at the bar, which I consider unprofessional. Overall we were very disappointed and would advise to spend your money elsewhere.

KandisCarlton wrote about Mahogany's at the Banks

I went to Mahogany’s on 2/16/13. This was a Friday evening. It was my cousin’s 21st birthday and we had a whopping 12 people. Is a party of 12 a huge group? The management and staff at Mahogany’s had no problem verbalizing the fact that they would have trouble accommodating such a large party. We were told that the table has a 2 hour minimum as if we were there to loiter. I was very offended by that. We had to share the menus because no one ever did bring us enough for each of us to have one. Our twelfth family member arrived a little later than the rest of the family but not before we ordered. The waitress insisted that she could not spare one more chair for our table. There were a few empty tables (entire tables) in the restaurant. Still the waitress insisted that she had not one more chair. At this point 3 out of town family members who had driven all day decided to throw in the towel. They left and I wish I would have followed their lead and left as well. But we stayed because it was my cousin’s birthday after all. We all wanted to try and make the best of it for him. For the rest of the time the wait staff was snippy and rude. The food was very slow to arrive and lack luster when it did. I could go on but the mediocrity of the food was completely overshadowed by the bad service. As we endured the long wait for our food to arrive I ponder this though. Does waiting an hour for food get tacked on to that 2 hour time clock, I wonder. On my way out I stopped the manager for a word. I shared with him the concerns that I heard my family express during the evening. Our exchange was as follows: I explained to him that we were not made to feel welcomed. He said “That was on you all because how many did you have? 10 or something?” I explained that our entire party was made up of paying customers. He said “No you are GUESTS.” I responded that the good people who patronize the business, regardless of what you label them, are how the business is able to stay open. He responded “We have a reality show coming here next month so we will be fine, don’t worry.” So if you were thinking about spending money in Mahogany’s on the Banks don’t bother. The manager says they do not need your money because they have a reality show next month.

I would never ever order form this place AGAIN the customer service is horrible. This is the second time I've ordered from them and they messed my order up and refused to take responsibilty for it. The woman manager is rude and disrespectful and the term the customer is always right means absolutely nothing to these people. The first I called the location in hyde park becasue I was told this was a local business and the owner was at this location and he wasn't any help either he sided with her because I'm assuming it was his wife or something. But I was always told if the dog bite you the first time bad dog but if you get bit again shame on you so I REFUSE to get bit again by this establishement. All I have to say is proceed with caution and buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What ever happened to Customer is King??????????Food is awesome. Server named Pam was outstanding....incredibly smokey as always. Went there hoping to watch the first half of the UK game.. the owner of the place was less than accomodating. He actually went head to head with my husband over keeping the main t.v. on another game that was not even a game. There was no one in the place interested in that game just think he was a UK hater. TV's are incredibly outdated. We tried to use a Groupon via an App but were declined because it was not printed out on paper....hello year 2013!!!!!! I think it is time to invest some of the money coming in to updating a dump of a restaurant. If it weren't for the killer food, nice server and convenient location this place would not survive!!!

I used to dine here quite often before the ownership change. In my opinion, the new owners should have stayed in Florida. What used to be a nice historical restaurant to eat has now been run into the ground. The food has become cheap with an unappealing presentation. I'm not sure if the owners are ruder to the guests or the staff. And on top of it all, this is the second time my well done steak has come out rare in my visits. They have introduced entertainment upstairs but don't waste your time. The band I saw they claimed was their house band was awful and we all left after the second song. Right in line with the rest of my experience. Don't eat here!!!!

What an amazing restaurant! I had the pleasure of dinning in the chef's room and having my entire meal prepared by Vitor. He created a 4 course meal that was out of this world! Each course was to die for and he surprised me with the different flavor combinations! I can't wait to go back and experience more flavor packed, one of a kind dishes! I highly recommend Victor's Bistro on Harrison Ave. ENJOY!!!!!!!

The atmosphere is lovely. The food is good but way overpriced. Salads with entrees that cost $30+ should be included and where was the bread? Bread isn't expensive and should be served with an entree. First time I have ever spent $120 an ate at the bar.
