Where to eat in West Chester
Only a couple of years ago, downtown West Chester Township was little more than an idea. Now, office buildings, retail centers and parks have sprouted up in the Muhlhauser Road and Union Centre Boulevard area, with the West Chester clock tower as focal point.
Plenty of places to eat are also part of this scene. Many are fast-food or casual dining chains. But the area boasts more than quick burgers and espresso in white mugs with a green-and-black logo.
Several independent restaurants offer upper-end dining, like Mesh (pictured), while smaller, less familiar chains fill in the casual side. In a few months, Asiatique, a pan-Asian restaurant from Louisville chef Peng S. Looi, will join the list. - Polly Campbell, The Enquirer
