O.K I agree that Foreign Exchange is a good Value, and hope that they stay around but they are no where near Bangkok Bistro or Lemon Grass, product wise and quality is just not comparable.

I have eaten at most, if not all of the "good" places on this list. Foreign Exchange in Anderson is owned and operated by the original owners of Teak, the #1 Thai restaurant on the list so you do the math. I know this because I enjoyed eating there so much that I asked. The pad thai is the same as Teak's and the sushi is as good as Kyoto's just not as good presentation. I also live in Anderson so it worries me when I drive by F.E. and their parking lot isn't full. The restauran biz is a tough one...heck any biz is tough these days.

I also eat at Foreign Exchange & for anyone that loves Thai & Sushi, it is a must. Prices for the Sushi are reasonable & there is a large menu for all of their other great dishes. They have a "lunch box" that is served mid day that is so worth it. It gives you a nice assortment, so that you can try many things at once.

It's obious still that enough people don't know about the Foreign Exchange on Beechmont Avenue. I've eaten at 6 of the above 10 and the F.E. is far and away better than those. They would also be a top 3 on your Sushi list as well. (And no, I'm not an owner or investor ... just love great Thai food.)
