Neighborhood restaurants offer plenty of options at festival

Enzo's
1106 Race St. - CincinnatiEnzo’s is setting up a tent in the parking lot and serving some delicious summer treats, like fruit-ades, iced green tea, organic juices, cold sandwiches and lots of sweets, including homemade pound cakes and cookies. The storefront won’t be open, but they will be operating out of their kitchen from 9 a.m. until all the tents come down!
Mixx Ultra Lounge
1203 Main St. -
Cincinnati
Try some of Mixx Ultra Lounge’s famous white chicken chili, nibble on catfish nuggets, or dip chicken tenders in their Mixx sauce at their Gateway Summer Celebration booth. The restaurant itself will still have normal operating hours.
Venice on Vine
1301 Vine St. - CincinnatiVenice on Vine isn’t usually open on Saturdays but is making an exception for the Gateway Summer Celebration. They’ll have different types of pizzas available and the restaurant will be open from 9:30 a.m. to around 2 or 3 p.m.
Lavomatic Cafe
1211 Vine St. -
Cincinnati
Lavomatic won't have a booth at Gateway Summer Celebration, but the restaurant will be open it's normal hours. Located in an Over-the-Rhine row house that is thought to have once been a Laundromat (hence, “Lavomatic,” the French word for Laundromat), the first floor is a dining room, with the second floor half indoor dining and half rooftop terrace.
Coffee Emporium
110 E. Central Parkway -
Cincinnati
If you need your daily caffeine fix at the Gateway Celebration, Coffee Emporium will have a full espresso cart with their most popular drinks, including iced coffees and iced mochas. Hungry? They are also teaming up with Jean-Francois Flechet of Taste of Belgium waffles.
