LaDonna's opened in the fall of 2010 in the former Miguel's spot as a casual, all-American restaurant with a full bar and nice outdoor patio. Chef and owner Randy Baumgardt wanted to create a place to serve comfort food from scratch. Appetizers include Cold Poached Shrimp, gourmet pizzas and homemade soups. Entrees, also known as "Comfort Food" include pulled pork barbeque, Kentucky Hot Brown, turkey cobbler pie, homemade meatloaf and Cajun jambalaya. They also have a big selection of burgers and sandwiches, including a goetta Rueben and garden burger. Come for the food and stay for the live entertainment every Saturday in the dining room, which runs 7 p.m. to around closing time. Open mic night is on Wednesdays from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
