There's an upscale, bohemian vibe to Honey, with a multigenerational and diverse clientele. You'll feel comfy dressed down or up. Start with a glass of wine and a pail of Honey fries, a mix of regular and sweet potatoes with dipping sauce. Then move on to the veggie tofu Napoleon; fish garnished with a sauteed oyster and dressed with a savory sauce; braised ribs with a glazed reduction over the accompanying mashed potatoes; or the ultimate comfort chic Creole meatloaf. Every accompanying vegetable and every drizzle of sauce is delicately displayed for visual as well as taste satisfaction. Another nice touch: Subtle honey butter on Shadeau bread. The menu changes weekly to feature seasonal offerings.
