The Toppers Pizza chain first came to the Greater Cincinnati area with a pizzeria on Calhoun Street, right across from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. A second location is also now open near Northern Kentucky University. It’s mostly a takeout and delivery outfit, with seating for only a handful of dinners inside. They offer a variety of "House Pizzas," such as the Maui Topper (Canadian bacon and pineapple), Philly Cheesesteak, Gyro Topper and Hangover Helper (Canadian bacon, onions, green peppers, potatoes, bacon bits and cheese). They also make toasted grinders, personal-sized pizzas, wings, quesadillas and probably the most requested for the late-night crowd: Topperstix. These breadsticks are made with homemade dough, covered in cheese and come with a variety of sauces, like garlic butter and nacho cheese.
