We have tried them all in the Nati and where ever else our travels lead and this is by far the freshest and best sushi we have had. Service is great, Sushi chef knows what he is doing, superb, check it out for yourself!!

After a long closing from a fire, Hana Tokyo has reopened. As good as ever. Best sushi on the eastside!

I stopped by last night (9/7), and was so sad to find the doors locked. I had no idea that they had been devestated by a fire. I have eaten here at least fifteen times, and had wonderful food and service every time. Best to Kevin and Angel, and I sincerly hope for a successful return.

I thought this place looked nice and it might be a good place for an upcoming get together of around 20 people.
I stopped in and looked around. I told the Hostess I was not there to eat, just to check it out. I asked if it were a chain restaurant and she did not understand what I was asking. I asked if maybe the owner or manager were in. She replied in broken English that he was busy. I asked for a name so I might call later and she would not give me a name of a Manager or anyone who spoke English or who understood a simple question like is this a franchise or a chain.
She was rude and had absolutely no social skills. I expected better. I Will Not go back.

What a fantastic surprise! The food was absolutely great. We had a large group and tried sushi, several appetizers and the hibachi grill was really good too. They could probably use a few more servers, but the food was worth it!

It's nice to finally be able to get sushi in Milford. Sushi preparation can sometimes take a while but the service is very attentive, and the sushi comes out looking and tasting great. I normally don't get California rolls since they're kind of boring, but here they use real crab which makes quite a difference. They also have rolls and nigiri that I've not seen elsewhere, creativity appears to be very important at Hana. I've not sat at a hibachi table but people that I've observed seemed to be have a good time. I've also not eaten off full menu. But for sushi in Milford, it can't be beat!

I had the pleasure of taking my family of 6 to this restaurant. We were seated at the Hibachi bar within moments of arriving. The host was very respectful and helped the ladies in our party with their coats and getting the children situated in their chairs.
The server was prompt and always there when we needed him. The Hibachi chef was skilled, funny and entertaining. The soup was outstanding. Fried rice, salad and hibachi items were impeccable in quality, taste and texture. I had the Filet and Shrimp and would rate it a solid 8.5 out of 10 ( a high mark considering it was only $22.95).
We had three children in the party and they were treated very well and served with as much attention as the adults. The only remotely negative thing I could say is the children's meals were $10.00 a piece. The amount of food and attention the children were given made that well worth while but none of our kids could eat even a third of what they were served. Maybe they could review that aspect but otherwise the overall experience was 5 stars!
Total bill was $150.00 with tip for Hibachi Chef and waiter, and we could say was money well spent for a special occassion.
