Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise stopped at the original Newport location for lunch in the movie "Rain Man." You can still enjoy the same casual atmosphere and homestyle food today. It feels like in your in your mamma's kitchen. A second location is now open in Independence, in the space that was Buffalo Bob’s restaurant. Pompilios features favorites such as lasagna, tortellini, linguini, manicotti and ravioli, all made from scratch. They have great appetizers and salads, too. For dessert, there's chocolate suicide cake, tiramasu, cannoli and spumoni.
