Carrabba's Italian Grill didn't have a mountain view of Lake Como, or picturesque perspectives of the Mediterranean coast from Capri or Portofino. BUT, it does share the pasta and sauces that have always brought gourmands to Italian restaurants. The clattering kitchen and hickory aroma hits diners at the door, and a wood-fired pizza is likely to be an ever-present temptation. The chef offers nightly specials, and menu choices have handmade sauces from family recipes passed down for four generations.
