Italian food can be stunning even while it is very simple; that’s the kind of Italian food Boca serves at its small and always-busy Oakley location. Both older, richer Cincinnatians and their hipper, younger counterparts can be seen in the comfortable, simple dining room with hints of warm bronze on the wall, and the bar is definitely a younger, affluent scene. Everyone tries the braised Brussels sprouts with scallops, an authentic, precisely cooked Italian pasta, and something as simple and sublime as roast chicken with wild mushroom risotto. Servers are young and may seem casual, but they’re working hard to do everything right.
