The Groupon got me here and the chili will certainly bring me back. It's the real deal..meaty with lots of flavor. Saw so many other things on the menu that I will have to try on my next visit. Hmmm, the 1/2 pound charbroiled burger sounds good. Give it a try...you'll be back just like me.

So happy Empress has returned! It's the best new "old" place out there. We think it's as good as it was many years ago. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There is a variety of food choices - not just chili. But, if you want the best Cincinnati style chili, this is the place!

We've been waiting for the Empress Chili in the Wyoming/Hartwell section of town to reopen and its been worth the wait. The place is clean and bright. The staff is super and the chili is as good as I remember it. The menu is expanded to make it more a neighborhood diner - they even have Chicago hot dogs - the genuine article and charbroiled burgers. You gotta give it a try..its worth the drive to this part of town.
