Bacon. Cheese. Perhaps veggies. Yum. We can barely decide which place to head for but we know everybody has their own winner in the city's best burger debate.

Terry's Turf Club

Repeat champion Terry’s offers a wide variety of signature sauces and toppings to go on its renowned burgers (even Guy Fieri is a fan). The fun decor, neon lights and lazy Susan style fridge complete the traditional diner feel. Terry’s has a decent selection of domestic and imported beers with a small yet fine selection of liquors and wines.

Ft. Thomas locals love their 915 Pub. Its half-pound Black Angus chuck burgers come with a variety of toppings, whether it’s the Italian (pepperoni, provolone and pizza sauce) or the Mett (topped with grilled Mettwurst, saurkraut and cheddar). Come in Wednesdays for Burger Mania - up to 5 toppings for a flat $5. Wings are 35 cents on Mondays. You can order wings mild to extra-hot. Appetizers are half-priced all day Sunday. The Portabella with crabcakes garnished with champagne horseradish cream is one of the Pub's most unusual appetizers.
915 Pub also serves a variety of salads, pizza--try the unusual chicken parmesan topped with Caesar salad--sandwiches, and homemade soup and slaw.
Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, 3 - 6 p.m.

Wildflower Café

Mason, OH 45040The Wildflower Cafe located in downtown Mason supports its local farmers and food suppliers which is why everything on the menu was purchased locally. The coffee house was built in a 100-year-old house where the owner is the chef and his wife serves the coffee. The daily changing menu is based on what is fresh and seasonal and welcomes patron suggestions. Food choices vary some of which include Sushi Grade Wild Ahi Tuna, Blackened Beef Tenderloin Salad, Tuscan Pasta and Lobster, Crab and Prawn Fra Diavolo. Beverages are all organic and consist of locally roasted coffee, iced black tea, southern sweet tea, hot teas and a variety of bottled drinks.
Zip's Cafe

For more than eight decades, burgers have been what Zip's Cafe does best. Repeatedly hailed as the best in town, they're made from meat delivered daily from Cincinnati's Bleh-Avril and Sons Inc. Zip's is a genuine, venerable neighborhood bar that caters to a host of personalities, from sports teams to business professionals to families. The small space can feel crowded, but it's casual, comfy and lively - especially in the front room where TV monitors blare, the jukebox roars and the model train circles the ceiling. It's seat yourself and the large communal table lends itself to making new friends. The bar's in the back behind some traditional saloon doors, completing Zip's classic, neighborhood bar feel. It also offers domestic bottles for $3.50 and everything else on tap is only $5.
