Soho's Japanese sense of elegance is summed up by the massive bamboo piece in the center of the dining room. First-timers should try something from the hibachi menu (veggies, beef, chicken or seafood), which earns you a front-row seat at one of 14 hibachi tables. There are separate hibachi and tatami rooms as well.

excellent hibachi food.. similar to benihana but better sauces and atmosphere
