All-you-can-eat ribs at Montgomery Inn
Montgomery Inn is celebrating its most popular entrée with a RibsFest this summer. It starts with an all-you-can-eat ribs deal on July 3, 4, and 5, and then continues with coupons for the rest of the summer.
The all-you-can-eat event is $19.95 at all four locations, and it's for dine-in only; no carry-out or doggy bags. Then, from July 6 through Sept. 21, there will be a coupon in the Enquirer every Monday for $5 off any rib entrée. It will also be available at www.montgomeryinn.com.
When you're there, you'll see the new menu at Montgomery Inn, with new and updated items, including new salads and increased portion sizes. There's also a new happy hour with drink specials from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The three local Montgomery Inn locations are the original, 9440 Montgomery Road, Montgomery; the Boathouse, 925 Riverside Drive, East End; and 400 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell.
Deal on tapas at NuVo
NuVo Restaurant in Newport does tapas on Wednesday nights - a prix-fixe deal of five courses, with seconds when you're done with those. This week through July 3 (NuVo is closed on July 4), the tapas deal will be available every night.
It's $25 per person, and it consists of a five-course meal with several tapas in each course. When you've finished, you can get more of whichever item you liked best. There are $4.50 wine specials to go with it. Unlike most Wednesday tapas nights, Nuvo will be taking reservations for this week.

Crepe of the Month: Peaches and Cream
It's Just Crepes will be featuring peaches in July.
The downtown speciality restaurant will offer "Peaches and Cream" – fresh peach slices, vanilla cream and powdered sugar – for $3.99 all month.
The restaurant will be closed on July 4th, but will resume regular hours on Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Half-price bar menu at Embers
Kobe sliders ($5), an ahi tuna BLT ($9) and cobb salad ($5, $9 with protein) are part of the new half-price bar menu offered Thursdays at Embers Steak, Seafood and Sushi.
Available from 5 to 10 p.m., the new half-price menu also features tempura rock shrimp ($6), crispy eggplant ($3.50) and a grilled chicken club sandwich ($7).
"Going into summer where we compete with country clubs and outdoor dining, having a Thursday night bar feature is something we thought would make us a little more competitive to attract folks into the restaurant," says Embers manager Josh Hamilton. "The bar menu is new, so it's a way of getting it out in front of as many people as possible."
