One of the most fantastic restaurants in the greater Cincinnati area!

Wildflower is one of the most stunning, well-conceived restaurants that I have encountered in Cincinnati. Fortunately, it is only a short drive away from my office, so I have been able to bring many colleagues to Wildflower and introduce them to the joys of organic, sustainably-sourced food. Every single one of them now sings its praises and have returned on their own to share it with others.

The only downfall of the restaurant is that it is frequently so busy during lunch time that there is quite a wait for a table, but the owners can hardly be faulted for creating a desirable eatery with excellent food and ethics to boot. It is definitely worth the wait, no matter how long.

Kudos to Wildflower and I look forward to visiting again very soon!

After a half-hour conversation, in which I had to explain every facet of my restaurant, including the entire menu, ingredients in each item, what had wheat, dairy, etc. in it, directions, what type of ambiance we had, and many more silly questions, that could have been answered very easily by looking at my website, as I suggested multiple times, I offered to create a special menu for the multiple food allergy, non-fish or pork eating, gluten-free, dairy-free-concerned customer, with whom I was speaking with. Upon arrival, the customer who made no reference to the server regarding the fact that they and I had already spoken about a different menu, simply stated "We'll take the chicken dish", which would obviously confuse a server that has no chicken dish on her restaurants menu. THEN, after a grueling 20 minute waste of time, 2 folks ordered off the specially created menu, while the other two customers order soup and 1/2 sandwiches for their Saturday evening, reservations-only dinner. Apparently, one of the 2 ladies that ordered soup, had a PEPPER ALLERGY, and yes, that is suppossedly another real allergy, in addition to the 6 million that had already been listed. Then the rude customers became obviously annoyed by the fact that thier $8.95 sandwiches didn't come with a 1st course (salad and bread) SURPRISE!!! They don't, that's why they are only $8.95, and they are called sandwiches, not dinners. The other two customers seemed very pleased with there gluten-free, Organic Chicken and lump Crab with Fresh Rosemary Bearnaise, Oscar dish, that was specially made for them, for $18.95, and yes they were dinners, and did come with salad and bread. After a complete waste of my 4 seat table for the evening, the customers left, and the server discovered that the pepper allergy lady had removed here meatballs from here soup bowl and placed them on the ground, under the table. I have never left a review of my own restaurants, but this table was especially rude and inconsiderate. I turned away numerous reservations that evening and even more walk-in customers that would have enjoyed their food and the experience at my cafe. Now I feel bad that I turned away good customers to seat bad ones. To my one disgruntled customer- Thanks but no thanks, your return business is neither needed nor wanted.

Amateur hour at the Wildflower Cafe'

Our experience at the Wildflower was for the most part very disappointing. The Italian Wedding soup that the chef informed us he'd made 4 days ago contained unground pepper corns that the chef explained he'd accidently spilled into the soup but assured us no others had complained. Two out of four in our party were served two courses while the other two sat with nothing. All of had already waited 50 minutes before any food was brought to the table. The "chips" accompanying one order consisted of those little crumbly bits found at the bottom of the bag. We won't go back.
