We took it as bedrock truth that a restaurant specializing in karaoke and serving something called a "Mexican hot dog" cannot possibly be good. But it totally works at this homey little restaurant tucked away on the corner of Delta and Eastern avenues.

With chairs that you'd likely find in your grandma's house, numerous beer signs and a karaoke machine prominently displayed in the dining room, the vibe still says mostly "Mexican restuarant." But the variety of the menu is unparalleled. The global food tour includes Hawaiian-style ribs, mett-n-kraut, enchiladas supremas, pasta primavera, burgers and Reubens and, yes, the Mexican hot dogs (grilled dogs with sour cream, mustard and pico de gallo).

If you’re feeling ready to party, have a Strip Tease, featuring five flavors of vodka. Or attempt their mysterious shot, the Mexican Bullfighter. Tostado’s is even available for private parties on Sundays.
