The Jug Restaurant, established in 1932, is one of the oldest hamburger restaurants in the country and a local icon in Middletown. The Jug features fresh hamburgers and cheeseburgers, root beer, and soft serve ice cream. Grilled chicken sandwich, beer-battered fries and onion rings and more are also available. Food is served to customers by car hops or patrons may eat at a counter inside or at picnic tables outside.
