Named for the neighborhood in which it resides, Mansion Hill Tavern is home to some of the best blues in the area. The Greater Cincinnati Blues Society maintains its home base in Mansion Hill which explains the live blues on Fridays and Saturdays at the tavern as well as the open blues night on Sundays from 8 p.m. to midnight. There is happy hour from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and a wide ranging menu to choose from, including meat loaf, fried cod and assorted sandwiches and burgers. This cash only bar is friendly and is located in a historically significant part of Newport.
