It saddens me to read all of the bad reviews about A.J.'Ss Road house. I have so many fond memories of the place over the years, even back to when it was called four season's. ( I think that was the previous name) I'ts in a great location & the food is really good. I don't think the previous owner has changed the menu at all. I believe it is the same food from the same suppliers for many years. I ate there yesterday. The food is still good, though the fish & onion rings were much greasier than normal. The waitress we had was great being only two tables eating at 1pm in the afternoon. The decor is way out dated & the floors looked hiddious. There is no wonder why this place doesn't have the regular customers it used to bring. The owner really doesn't care if you like it or not! He has a very unpleasant disposition to go with his bad attitude. The place is just an investment for him. Though one would think he'd want it to do better he has refused to put much effort into upkeep & cleanliness. The place is pretty much just as it was when he got it with the exeption of the delapidation of things. Especially the motel rooms. The upside of things is that it is now for sale! Hopefully someone will buy it & mannage it well. It will be great if they keep the same menu & suppliers as well. This place has the potential to make alot of money with a few updates & a good mannager. Some entertainment would be great as well. I remember the days of live bands & accoustic solo musicians packing the place.Yesterday I took a friend & some family members there for their first time. I now realize it was a poor choice. Especially with some of the staff about to fist fight out back & we had a child with us. I will not be back anytime soon. Maybe this place will soon see better days under new ownership.

AJ's is obviously a wannabe sports bar. We went for the food and while there played the juke box. After putting in the money and selecting our music, the owner told the bar maid to turn the juke box off so another patron could hear the TV! Obviously the other guy was a "regular" at the bar and wanted to watch TV. If you don't want the juke box to play pull the plug or put an 'out of order' sign on it. Don't take the money and then turn it off. Check out the real sports bars, they are everywhere; the music plays in the background and nobody can hear the sound on the TV. If you want to watch and listen to TV, go home.

I have gone to this restaurant probably close to 50 times in the last year or two. I LOVE it! The food is always wonderful, there is nothing on the menu that isn't exactly the way you think it should be. The steaks are always done perfect, very juicy and flavorful. The smothered chicken is so good I giggled through the whole plate. The Reuben sandwich is to die for. I mean there is nothing on the menu that isn't great! Also, the service if friendly and quick, they are always happy to see you. The prices are unbelievable. My husband and I can eat a dinner at AJ's for $25 before tip and take some extra food home where other places for the same meal we could pay $100 and not have anything left over. (The Roadhouse Chops are great warmed up the next day, two big chops is too much for one meal!) I mean it, stop by AJ's, don't be put off by the dated decor, it starts to feel homey and comfortable after a while. Oh and the restrooms are spotless! I promise you will not be disappointed!

We went to AJ's before the Coldplay concert last night. They put out different menus for Concert Nights. Meaning they charge more and only have limited menu.
Our server rocked! She was great. Even so it does not justify the upcharge on the food and drinks. Hell the burgers don't even come with fries they charge more for those.
Will we be going back?? Nope, I would rather spend my money at Taco Bell.
