The Bayou Fish House in Newport is a fried fish bar, where you can order your fish to go or eat it standing up at a 30-foot bar. A second location is now open in Price Hill. The menu is simple: perch, cod, whiting and the catch of the day served with fries and bread. Coleslaw and gumbo are also available. Owner Grant Gieseler said he makes up the batter and breading throughout the day, giving it a little Cajun spice.
