A celebrity chef in Reading? Who knew. KT's Barbecue and Deli offers a cuisine that is a cross between Memphis and Carolina barbecue with a touch of California in the spices, herbs and rubs. The food is prepared by celebrity chef Kenny Tessel who has served the likes of Bob Newhart, Kevin Spacey and Don Rickles. KT's offers pulled pork, ribs and chicken that are dry-rubbed and slow-cooked with indirect heat. This authentic BBQ place even cooks its ribs for three hours outside in the back in a pit smoker. KT's is carry-out only and offers great Southern sides such as collard greens, coleslaw and potato salad.
