On Tuesday, Dec. 6, Universal Republic Records will release "Lioness: Hidden Treasures," a new album from the late great Amy Winehouse. Posthumous albums are always a dicey proposition, as they are frequently the work of record labels and estate holders looking to make a quick buck with subpar material. "Lioness" mostly does right by the talented but troubled singer, enlisting longtime Winehouse producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi to compile a diverse set of tracks that showcase her versatility, even if they don't quite equal the heights of Winehouse's masterpiece, "Back to Black."
