19. T.I., 'No Mercy'
The seventh studio album from the self-proclaimed King of the South just came out on Dec. 7, so it might be premature to write it off as a flop. Early signs aren’t good, however; “No Mercy” sold only 159,000 copies in its first week—a fraction of the 568,000-copy debut of T.I.’s previous effort, “Paper Trail”—and sales tumbled nearly 60% a week later. With the prison-prone rapper back behind bars on a probation violation, “No Mercy” may never get the promotional push it needs to achieve his customary sales figures.
