Tim McGraw’s eleventh LP comes front-loaded with a number one single (“Felt Good on My Lips”) and legal drama (Curb Records sued McGraw to prevent him from recording/signing with another label, but a November court ruling sided with McGraw). The album also features R&B star Ne-Yo (what?!) on the song “Only Human.” McGraw co-wrote “I Will Not Fall Down” with Martina McBride and the Warren Brothers, with the eternally hat-doffing country star again enlisting Byron Gallimore as producer. McGraw told Billboard “Emotional Traffic” is “one of my favorite records I’ve ever done," calling it "one of those records that you want to put earphones and just turn it up and really listen to every part of the record.”
