Jason's right. U2's old, classic stuff is great but they haven't done anything really worthwhile for at least 12 years. Don't believe me? One word: "Vertigo". That song was proof that they need to hang it up or shut down for a bit and do some serious retooling. Now I can imagine that their concert (especially this one on Sunday) is not doubt going to be mind blowing and worth seeing but it seems like they're being considered the "biggest rock band in the world" because of elaborate tours/shows like this, not because of the music they write. I can see bands like The Stones, Springsteen, Genesis or Roger Waters doing shows like this and getting away with it but U2 doing this just seems overblown like they're trying waaaay too hard and saying, "Hey look at us,we still got it even though our music sucks now".

So, Mr. Gonulsen. You are writing to tell everyone that you remain uninspired by U2 for what reason? You have never seen them in concert, yet are already dissing them. You sound like my son. I dragged his a$$ to the last concert they had in St. Louis at Scottrade and believe me, he has been inspired ever since. I would love to see their show this year, as I have since 1987, but can no longer afford to go to ANY concerts. If you decide or are insprired, for any reason, to give your ticket away, by all means, I would LOVE to go.
I have seen U2 in concert 5 times and would have gone in April 1981 to see them at Wash. U, when they were here in 1981, but was in labor with my son at the time, so was a little busy.
So, put your holier-than-thou attitude away and enjoy the concert. Enjoy watching the people enjoying the concert and you'll have a truly great time. M'kay?
