Originally posted June 6: The MidPoint Music Festival announced 19 acts for the September festival today, including several winning acclaim around the industry.
Grizzly Bear will release their first album in three years on Sept. 18. Their last album ranked #1 on the NPR Listener's Poll and was in the Top 10 on year-end lists in The New York Times, Time Magazine, Pitchfork and Spin.
Sleigh Bells and Cloud Nothings were profiled in the May 2012 issue of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Artists Shaping Music Tomorrow"
J Mascis of Dinosaur JR was #5 on Spin’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”
