7. Count Duckula
The notion of a vegetarian vampire is odd enough on its own without making said vampire a duck, but even with humor on his side, Count Duckula was nothing but a disappointment to his condescending manservant, Igor. Duckula’s love of carrots and dreams of a career in show business were thwarted weekly by misinformed nemeses and Igor’s attempts to get him to drink blood. A British cartoon, “Count Duckula” is best thought of not as a legitimate vampire but as a satire of impotent royals.
