Sure, audiences were thrilled to see Dustin Hoffman and Katharine Ross bypass awful parents and the prospect of a loveless marriage to ride off into the sunset together. But for anyone else at this particular wedding, talk about an awful afternoon. Just think about it: The ex-boyfriend shows up and crashes the show. Not only does he make a very public disruption, he all but kidnaps the bride as her family shrieks in horror. And as the couple make their getaway, he wields a crucifix and attacks the relatives. Worst. Wedding. Ever.
