Agreed! Where's my girl Chelsea Handler?? I DO love me some RAAAANNNNDDDYYY. But - he was in Funny People...so does that count?

I agree wholeheartedly with Aziz Ansari. He's great in P&R, and in Funny People, and in Observe and Report.

Demetri Martin has his shot, who's next?

Start talking about comedian-turned-superstars, and you’ll inevitably mention the likes of Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers or the newest member of the club: “The Hangover’s” Zach Galifianakis.
Demetri Martin hopes to join their ranks as he parlays his appearances on “The Daily Show” and a stint as host of “Important Things With Demetri Martin” into a starring role at the center of Ang Lee’s ‘60s dramedy “Taking Woodstock,” opening Aug. 28.
That’s good news for Martin (and good news for moviegoers, since he actually turns in a strong performance), but what about all the other comedians who deserve a chance at a big-screen blowup? Take a look at our humbling list of the comedians we’d most like to see as movie stars.
