"Some degree of respect"... "Terrible-looking"... Are you trying to sell something? An idea, a point of view, some Hatorade? What have you done in your career? Have you Grossed over $3.4 Billion in movie sales? Let's see your achievements in your career, so we can judge you every single time you mistep. Are you telling me that you wouldn't do "Meet Dave 2" for $90 million dollars? Keep it real. I feel sorry for you, that you have to try and kick someone when YOU think they are down. "we look back on some of the lower moments for the once-great man". Why? For what reason, will you feel better? Don't you think people would like to see the successes they may have missed? How about the successes along side the "misses". Maybe not, because the list of successes are quite long. You know there are $3.4 Billion worth.
