As one of the two art-house theaters in Cincinnati, the Esquire showcases well-chosen, usually independent films (although mainstream films have recently begun to infiltrate). Whether you like what you see or not, the vast majority of the films that play here will demand reflection that goes beyond the usual mainstream flick. Can't find that international film you've been hearing about? Chances are the Esquire will show it, at least for a short time. Want to see that controversial documentary that the big-name theaters aren't playing? You'll find that here too. The theaters are small and intimate, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Esquire also shows "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" twice a month on Saturday nights, so break out your old Dr. Frank-N-Furter costume and brush up on your callbacks! And all Tuesday shows are just $5.50. Cash only, but there are plenty of ATMs nearby. Located in Clifton's gaslight district, there are plenty of places to eat, drink or shop before or after your movie.

There is a parking lot across the street if you hate going for a stroll in a unique neighborhood with eclectic dining options and interesting shops...
