the movie was not what i expected...i kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. like there was not climax to the story or something. It was very touching though and Jenn looked amazing!

Yes, should have been rated PG-13. This is the most blatant mis-rating of a movie (for marketing purposes?) that I've seen. NOT appropriate for our 8 year old. Luckily, the manager let us slip out of it and into Bedtime Stories. Much more appropriate.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN to see this movie. It should be rated PG13. As a dog lover I couldnt wait to take my grandchildren ages 5, 6 & 9 but what a big MISTAKE. Too much sex talk, a violence scene, male dog humping and showing Marley put to sleep at the end is not for kids. Very very sad. It could have been a good movie if shown the right way.

Sure be nice to your dog but DO NOT take a three year old to this movie, blatant sex, miscarriage, and the guys friend was a clear womanizer. This movie is clearly mis-rated. PG 13 would have been a better representation. Besides that it held no message other than be good to your dog and it will still die.

I had read the book and was anxious to see the movie - I think the movie will make you appreciate and love your own dog much more. I personally loved it, but I would not recommend it to someone with an aging dog or someone who just lost their beloved dog - I cried buckets!

As a dog lover, I loved this movie. Was it sappy and sentimental. Yes!!! But so is the book! That's exactly what audiences are expecting. No, it's not Oscar worthy, but I actually enjoyed Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson's performances and felt like they had some chemistry together. Plus, the dog is so darned cute!

I was so sorry to see such a rediculous repeditive recall of a superior breed put on screen.

It is the story of my yellow Lab Buddy adopted after he was a victim of being whacked in the snout by some devil from hell. Mat Pais has never has the love of an animal other than maybe a hampster. We should pass the hat full of employment ads to find him a real job.

Adopt a dog. They give back as much love as you give him or her. They only want love. Nothing more.

Matt take a chill pill, your taking things way too seriously. It is a funny movie and it's Christmas time they are going to love it.
