“The Spy Who Loved Me” (1977)
Forget cliffhanger; this one begins with an no-holds-barred cliff-jumper. Zigzagging his way around bullets fired by secret Soviet agents, Bond (Roger Moore) barrels down the face of a mountain on his skis. When he runs out of powder, he launches himself off the face of the cliff. It's a breathtaking, silent plunge, until the silence is broken by the sound of a deploying Union Jack parachute. Certain death becomes just another day at the office.
