Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” is a timeless story. Although it was written in the 19th century, it has retained a relevancy and allure all the way into the beginning of the 21st century. And it’s irresistible to Hollywood.
“Forrest Gump” Oscar-winner Robert Zemeckis directs Jim Carrey in the film version, a motion-capture animated film with Carrey playing Ebenezer Scrooge at various ages and all of the ghosts who haunt him.
Carrey may be the man with a thousand faces, but a few other actors have given him a run for his money. Let’s take a look back at these brave souls, and the roles they were most and least believable in.
