PBS is again planning a blowout concert to celebrate the country's 236th birthday.
A Capitol Fourth will welcome a new host - Dancing With the Stars' Tom Bergeron will preside over the festivities.
Featured will be Smash star Megan Hilty, Broadway star Matthew Broderick, The Voice winner Javier Colon, country music's Josh Turner; R&B superstars Kool & The Gang; tenor Russell Watson and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Jack Everly.
Olympic medalist Apolo Anton Ohno will host a tribute to Team USA, honoring the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams, with John Williams conducting his Olympic Fanfare.
Some 20 cameras will capture the fireworks exploding over the city. It will all be broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on PBS from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET.
