With Slumdog Millionaries , the audience gets to see a triumph of the human spirit admist the dire and desparate poverty still in India. The movie's theme transends the brutality of conditions the characters find themslelves in and with sheer intelligence and good fortunate the lovers Jamal and Litika manage to surrive and pursue their own destiny.
