Daniel Tosh, comedian and host of Comedy Central show Tosh.O, has been the subject of controversy this week because he tried to be funny on the topic of rape.

He apologized for making a female audience member the subject of his rape joke last Friday at the Laugh Factory. The joke and Tosh's apology have caused a firestorm of opinion, ranging from "rape is never funny" to "lighten up, everyone" and more.

Now, the latest Tosh news is that he is said to be "scrambling" to take out all references to rape - of which there are apparently plenty - from the pilot episode of his new series, Brickleberry, which is scheduled to be shown tonight at Comic-Con in San Diego.
