• Now and then you get new episodes of network sitcoms during the summer.

Unfortunately, more often than not, they're often burnoffs of sitcoms you had no interest in watching during the fall, winter or spring, like Friday's double-run of the NBC flop Best Friends Forever (8 ET/PT).

Ignoring it on the first go-round was the right choice; don't falter now.

• NBC blends two formats Sunday, a celebrity interview and a musical special, and comes up with Adele Live in London (8 ET/PT).

In between listening to the multiple Grammy winner talk to Matt Lauer, you'll get to hear her sing six songs from her concert at Royal Albert Hall.

• It's a busy cable night Sunday. The return of Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime, 9 ET/PT) and The Glades (A&E, 9 ET/PT) goes up against the season finale of Game of Thrones (HBO, 9 ET/PT).

The clear best choice is Game, particularly since the often-entertaining Diva Sunday is indulging in its unfortunate penchant for booking horrid but attention-grabbing guest stars.

By the way, if you're setting a recording device for Games or the HBO shows that follow, be aware that the finale is running 10 minutes over.

• Mystery fans may want to switch to A&E after for the debut of Longmire (10 ET/PT), based on Craig Johnson's mystery novels and starring Robert Taylor as a recently widowed Wyoming sheriff.

The opener is a bit plodding and pedestrian, but the setting is gorgeous and a nice change-of-urban-pace, and the cast (including Katee Sackhoff and Lou Diamond Phillips) is fine.
