Good place for a date

I went to Star Lanes for a first date. I arrived early, (I was nervous and wanted to see where all the exits were incase the date didn't go so well) and waited at the main bar. I was greated by a bald head waiter who offered me a menu. I ordered my staple drink, Pirates Blood, and surprisingly he knew how to make it. Glancing over the menu, but having no appetite, I noticed that Star Lanes had a lot of food to offer. From chicken to ribs, salads to mini-burgers. It's not typical bowling alley food... but then again it's not a typical bowlin alley. There were disco-esqe lights giong off. The music was good. A little bit of everything. The staff also looked as though they were really enjoying themselves. Dancing behind the front desk, the bar tender was fist pumping and the servers were smiling and laughing. (c'mon! how many people actually LOOK like they're enjoying their job?) my date showed up, and thanks to my drink I was feeling light and confident. It was about 8:30 and Star Lanes was about to turn in to 21 and up. We decided that we would bowl, but when we got to the front desk we were told there was a wait. About 45 min. We were given a pager and told that it could be less time. We asked what our other options were? There was pool tables, we could eat and Toro was about to open. We opted for Pool while waiting for out lanes. There was a cock tail server, which I thought was awesomely convient! YEAH! My date and I talked over pool and drinks. About an hour later (little longer than 45 min but we were in no rush) our pager went off and we got our lane. The place was packed! Once we got to our lanes we had a DIFFERENT server! (I'm a fan of service, and not waiting at the crowded bar) Fortunately we had closed out with our previous pool server, and our male server took care of us the rest of the evening.
Star lanes was a really fun experience! There is a little bit of everything. Drinking, Dancing(Toro) bowling and Good Music!
