Here’s who you’ve chosen the best around town for eating, drinking and all kinds of fun

Three years ago, when we first started our Best of Metromix voting, we tried to keep it to five nominees in every category, sometimes allowing six. There was no chance of that this year.

For the first time we opened up the process to reader nominations before the actual voting started. And we added some categories where, we found, there are lots of fervent fans.

Local DJ, local chef and food truck got lots of nominees – to the point where we had more than 20 choices in some categories.

We want to thank everyone who voted, extend our congratulations to all the winners and encourage you all to check out all these great places and people – and flip through all the winners.
