For 11 days, 32 productions of varying weirdness light up Over-the-Rhine for the eighth annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival. Puppets and circus-style variety shows join the usual lineup of plays and solo performances. Cincinnati Shakespeare and New Edgecliff Theatre also have shows for the first time since year one.
Music, movies and more food come downtown every night of the week
It began as a small art fair celebrating the opening of Cincinnati’s Playhouse in the Park. Now, Summerfair draws crowds of more than 20,000 to see the works presented by more than 300 artists.
