11775 Commons Drive - CincinnatiDave & Busters is a sponsor of UC football and hosts all the team’s away game watch-parties. They always give out game play coupons and everyone is invited to watch the game on the big screen. Get there early (maybe play a round of skeeball or two), then head to the bar for happy hour from 4:30-7 p.m. with half-off all cocktails, $1 off draft beer, $1 off glasses of wine and $3 off bottles of wine.
Take Five
6957 Harrison Ave. - CincinnatiYou can pretend you’ve got box seats at Take Five. The restaurant is pre-selling a dinner package in the party room: steak or salmon dinner, drink tickets and appetizers for $25, and fans can start buying the tickets on Thursday, Dec. 18. The rest of the bar and restaurant can cheers to $2 plastics and half-off select appetizers.
Uncle Woody's Tavern & Eatery
339 Calhoun St. - CincinnatiYou can always count on Uncle Woody’s for a Bearcat-friendly crowd. On Tuesday, Dec. 30 starting at 11 a.m., they’re having a pre-game warm-up with kegs and eggs ($3.95) and they’ve concocted a special drink for the event, an Orange Blitz ($5.50). On Jan. 1 at 5 p.m., they’re serving dinner of an Orange Bowl Salad in a homemade tortilla bowl with mandarin oranges and chicken wings with orange flavored barbeque sauce. Watch the game on one of their seven flat screen TVs and sip on an Orange Blitz.
Tangeman University Center
University of Cincinnati - CincinnatiThe Catskeller is opening at 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 1 if anyone wants to come early and watch the Rose Bowl. It’s a good idea to get there a little early anyways, as they’re giving away free food for the first hundred people once the Orange Bowl starts. They’ll have free posters to giveaway, and anyone who wants to watch the game on a really big screen can do so in the MainStreet Cinema upstairs.
Sully's
700 Race St. - CincinnatiMake sure to watch the whole game at Sully’s, where they’re offering $1 domestic drafts during the first quarter, $2 well drinks during the second quarter, $3 shots during the third quarter and $4 bombs during, you guessed it, the fourth quarter. If the Bearcats pull off a win, fans get dollar drafts all night.
