FOTOFOCUS Snapshot
Contemporary Art Center and the Aronoff Center’s Weston Art Gallery are among the exhibit spaces getting the jump on FOTOFOCUS, a month-long celebration of historical and contemporary photography and lens-based art in October.
Image Machine: Andy Warhol and Photography opens at the Contemporary Art Center Sept. 22. Cincinnati’s Anthony Luensman gets a one-man show with Taint at the Weston Art Gallery, just across Walnut Street at the Aronoff Center, opening Sept. 28.

MidPoint Music Festival 2012
MidPoint Music Festival continues its 11-year tradition as a “hidden indie gem” that embraces pioneering emerging artists on multiple venues. Over the Rhine's recently renovated Washington Park and its Civic Lawn space will serve as this year’s all-ages access main stage, hosting headliners such as Andrew Bird, Grizzly Bear and Sleigh Bells.
Tickets: Early Bird All Music Access and Loyalty Presale are sold out. A limited number of All Music Access Passes ($69) and VIP Passes ($169) are still available, and Washington Park Thursday, Friday and Saturday tickets ($25/$30/$30) are now on sale at CincyTicket.com.
