Since announcing two weeks ago that the last issue of Metromix will be published on Sept. 19, we’ve received many phone calls and emails from readers. (Thanks so much for all the kind words so many of you shared!)
We’ve also received a lot of questions concerning some of the upcoming changes to the Enquirer’s entertainment coverage. Here are several of readers’ most frequently asked questions.
Question: You said the Metromix publication will be going away. What about the website?
Answer: Yes, the website eventually will be discontinued as well. We’ll be moving many of those features – this week’s picks, music interviews, movie showtimes, bar and club profiles, and Daniele Cusentino’s Soundcheck column – to Cincinnati.com’s Entertainment section, which will launch with a fresh new look on Sept. 19.
Q. Will you still shoot Metromix photo galleries?
A. Yes, we will still shoot a lot of photo galleries of local events; we’ll just no longer be using the Metromix name. You’ll be able to find all of those photo galleries at Cincinnati.com/entertainment.
Q. What about the Staff Question? I really like that section!
A. Unfortunately, the Staff Question will be ending, but you can always ask us questions. Email me at tstewart@cincinnati.com if you have a question for me or another person on staff – just no weird or creepy stuff, ok?
