Are you ready to get in the mix? If so, this party is one you won't want to miss.
Metromix Cincinnati, CiN Weekly's new BFF, launched on Sept. 24.
"Metromix is our new online guide for where to go, things to do and where to party all over Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky," says Metromix Cincinnati producer Jon Berndt. "We're aiming to have the most comprehensive database of places to go, things to do, where to eat (and) where to drink."
And a site like Metromix, which is party central, calls for a party to celebrate.
"Metromix is always looking for a party, so we thought we'd start with throwing one ourselves," Berndt says.
COME TO THE PARTY
Bang Nightclub is the place to be on Friday, Oct. 17 to celebrate the launch of Metromix Cincinnati. And this will be no ordinary party. Sure, there will be plenty of drinks and a crowd, but the entertainment goes way beyond the usual.
Aerial performers and stiltwalkers will be in attendance; be sure to keep watch overhead so you won't be shocked if you suddenly feel like someone is staring at you. "Blue carpet" photo opportunities will also be part of the festivities. And what's cooler than stopping by an ice bar to get your drinks?
Of course there will also be music. J-cru, Identity and Haze from electronica/hip-hop outfit Model Citizen Sound (www.myspace.com/modelcitizensound) will mix the tunes you want to hear.
Want to fit in with the decor? The whole place will be decorated in blue.
